A good design is a blend of inspiration and understanding. We like to get to know our clients, photograph their product lines, spend time in their stores or studios. After that our designs all start as pencil sketches or water color paintings, usual created somewhere far away from a computer.

Design is interface, and interface has to be clear and simple. The eye should instantly be drawn to what is most important on a page. The mouse should be drawn to what is clickable. Before launching any site we perform usability tests to ensure that the site is as clear and simple as possible.

Hard problems require clever solutions. They are what make programming fun and rewarding. How do we condense a whole e-commerce system onto one page for our call center? How do we show US prices to American customers and Canadian prices to Canadians? How can we make a page look one way on the web site and another way when we print it? Writing complicated code to build simple tools is our challenge - is our art.
